How to stay motivated and still be an inspiring blogger

I've struggled a little with motivation with my blog over the last few months, but I've recently really got back into it, so I thought I'd share some of the things that helped me to get motivated and re-inspired!

1. Don't be too hard on yourself - Take a few weeks break and go somewhere different, relaxing and inspiring!

I have just come back from Spain, and I now feel recharged and excited to create new posts having been inspired by Spanish culture and trends. Sometimes when blogging all day long you feel your creative level can slump and things just don't seem to click as they once used too. Sometimes taking a step back for a few weeks can do you the world of good by providing fresh ideas and influence to your creative side !

2. Challenge your style and be different

When I'm stuck in a blogging rut, it's normally because I'm doing the same thing on repeat day-in-day-out! Whenever I mix things up I find that I feel more energetic and excited and find it easier to think of new photo themes and a different approach to take.

3. Why did your start your blog?

Take your little blogging mind back and remember why you started your blog? Was it for you a part time hobby, a business idea or full time job, you need to have this in your mind to keep you sane! Sometimes, I ask myself why am I doing this and it always comes down to my passion. When it comes to fashion I'm just a little too obsessed with clothes and accessories!

4. Brand collaboration

Being sent a new gift - it always brings a smile to my face when I get contacted by a brand who love my page and offer to send me a gift. This is especially nice when it's really cool and something that I have really wanted!! However I have a rule of only accepting the gifts if I feel happy with the product and believe my followers would benefit from it too.

I recently received a lovely gift from Studio designs, a wireless pair of minimalistic designed earphones which I've been using constantly whilst on holiday. I think they look so cool and are really perfectly developed with clever ideas like an anti tangle design, so you're not always spending hours untangling them, like I was with the ones that came with my phone, plus their studio quality sound is also pretty awesome!!

Receiving a great product gives you a sense of self-believe and inspiration whilst pushing you to keep on going. (So thanks Studio design!)

5. Finally, Revamp your blog design !

I've also found that restyling your blog can provide down fresh inspiration and enthusiasm. This is something I have wanted to do for a while now and I'm currently working on rebranding mine, but as we all know good things take a lot of time, and so I've still got a lot to do to get things into order! I know that whenever I see my new design, I get instantly excited and remember that this is what I love and what I am aiming for my blog to look like.

I hope these tips help anyone else struggling with inspiration like I had recently, they've really helped me get back into my blog and I am keen to keep improving my space on the internet!
